After our son had a devastating piñata experience because of his peanut/tree nut allergies, we decided to get our own "safe" piñata for my father's birthday. This is what happens when you give people a bat and something to hit :)

Stupid Light Tricks

My husband needed light swirls for some new pieces he is working on, and the results using the G1 SLR and an LED flashlight were really cool. Here's an example of our new "stupid light trick"

Buzz Hero and Action Cat!

My wonderful and talented husband, Randy, created our first "Buzz Hero and Action Cat" hd movie using our Panasonic HD Camcorder and iMovie. We really love living in hd!

Angelina's 2nd Bday

Angelina celebrated her 2nd birthday with family and close friends this past weekend. It was pink, spring filled and fun. Everyone had a great time, especially the kids. She's definitely our little daffodil!

Spring is Here

The kids and I visited a local nursery for their annual spring flower show and captured some great pics using our Lumix digital camera.  I enjoyed taking pictures, and my 4 year old son did as well!  Here are some lovely glimpses of spring and summer- enjoy!

HD is Now a Part of Our Everyday Lives

I haven't posted any new projects (but I am working on one over time that will hopefully be ready soon) and I thought I had nothing new to contribute to this blog.  But then I thought about how the Panasonic HD suite has just become a part of our life, our routine. We love our TV and can't help notice details we have never seen before upon a repeat viewing in HD.  Our son just pops in a DVD and the tv turns on, selects the correct component, and the DVD begins.  It is empowering for him and allows him to help his little sister watch a movie if I'm busy with something.

We use our cameras for fun, for projects, for my husband's illustration work.  We watch what we have just filmed on the TV easily by just popping the SD card into the built in card slot.  The TV automatically loads the viewer!

I recently told my son our new TV is "too smart".  He replied, "It is too smart, just like me!"

I have to agree with him :)

You Know You're Living in HD when...

Just an anecdote.  My mother asked me about my mini-DVD player.  My son, who is 4 1/2 yrs old, then turned to his grandmother and said, "Gigi, we have Blue-Ray!"

Cool Stuff

Learned a bunch of cool new things about using cameras and looking forward to giving them a try.  Hope to post a few new projects on Living in HD soon.

CES Day 2

Vegas and CES

The whole family is in Vegas right now.  We attended the press conference yesterday and the press met our "Living in HD" Family.  The kids are having a great time and we are looking forward to going to CES later today.
